Sancho Says Hello!

Sancho Says Hello!

Say hello to Sancho and his rockstar mom, Christi. She owns a local contracting business run entirely by women, called Projects General Construction and he owns her heart. They joined me at my studio to snap some photos of the love they share. This little beagle is as spunky at eight years old as pups half his age. He has the sweetest demeanor and was smiling from ear to ear during our entire photoshoot. Check out this happy pup!

Moss & Yuri

Moss & Yuri

In honor of the American Humane Association's Adopt-a-Cat-Month, here are two FURociously cute felines to inspire you to give a loving home to a cat in need.  According to the ASPCA, a staggering 3.4 million cats enter shelters every year in the U.S. This number could be diminished if we all opened our hearts to a cat. They are amazingly easy to give a good home to as they can be happy in small spaces like apartments. So don't get discouraged, we can all adopt. They just need food, water and plenty of LOVE! Might as well adopt two too! Like Kishore who I photographed with his two sweethearts, Moss and Yuri.

Mammoth Pet Products' New Line Launch!

A few months back, I had the amazing opportunity to do a commercial shoot for Mammoth Pet Products, a leading company in the pet product world. The photoshoot was for their redesigned line of toys, ropes and squeekers. The days on set were a whirlwind of fur and fun and it was tough work getting my four-legged models to sit, stay, and smile. However, it was an absolute labor of love. From a Pittie to a Rottweiler and a Frenchie to a Husky— it was blast capturing the diversity of dogs. I have been anticipating the launch of their new look and line, to see the shots as a finished product and am happy to announce it is finally out!

Sweethearts in Need of a Home!

Over the holidays I had the pleasure of photographing some pups in need of homes for Care-4-Paws, with the hope that their close-ups would lead to their adoption. I am excited to know that one of these sweethearts has now become a jet-setting doggie. With a name like Paris this pitty was born to travel the world, or at least across the United States. This cutie has settled where the buffalo (dogs) roam free, in Montana with her new canine brother and kitty cat sister. Much love to Shadow's Fund for helping Paris get adopted. Shadow's Fund is an amazing organization that rescues senior and "pit bull" type dogs from public shelters, operating a no kill sanctuary in Santa Barbara.

A Cutie Named Jaspar

A Cutie Named Jaspar

Curly hair, don't care! Take a peek at Japsar, a lovable poodle with a big personality. His tongue was out and his tail was wagging away throughout our entire shoot.

Bella

Bella

I had an absolute blast with Bella the Frenchie. She was all smiles and ready for her close-up during this studio shoot. Indoor photoshoots are the perfect location to let a pooch's personality shine!

Elvis

Elvis

Children and pets are two of the most intriguing subjects to photograph and the results are always so special. This German Shepherd, Elvis, loves his two boys so much and they sure love him. He is their protector, playmate and cuddle bug. The bond between pets and their people, well pets and their little people is unbreakable!

Euro

Euro

Euro, the perfect name for this Bichon Frise. This pup knows how to smile with his eyes like a French supermodel. So much fun photographing this lovely little family!

Chip

Chip

This guy may look intimidating walking down the street, but as soon as he greets you with a big 'ole kiss on the cheek you know he wouldn't hurt a fly. Chip the Doberman is a big hunk of love with an even bigger heart! He got his name from his dad who is a CHP officer. There used to be a TV show titled "CHiP's" in the early 80's. It followed to CHP motorcycle officers on their adventures on the highways of California. I fell in love with Chip and his family during our photoshoot at my studio in San Francisco!

Emma

Emma

Dogs are family and these images exemplify this perfectly. Photographing this trio warmed my heart seeing the love they share for one another. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to capture this adorable little family!

Daisy

Daisy

Look at that face! Daisy the Basset Hound is one of the cutest pups I think I have ever photographed. She has such a funny personality, running around like a wild woman during our photoshoot. From chewing on her owner's sneakers to making the funniest faces for the camera she was an absolute joy to capture!

Harry

Harry

The best gift you can give in this world is love. And dogs offer unconditional love. Therefore the best gift you can actually give, is a dog. Also life is just simply better when these four-legged sweethearts are apart of our families, our packs. I got the chance to shoot this fur-kid and his dad to give as an anniversary gift to Harry's mom!
